The Start of Something New!

Hello there!

My name is Kendra Schmitz. I'm currently a Junior at UW-Steven's Point. I'm here studying to get my degree in Elementary and Exceptional Education. I'm extremely passionate about children and the impact we can leave on their hearts by being phenomenal teachers. I decided to start this blog to document different activities, lesson plans, and things for class. We keep a portfolio for school, but there are so many more things I want to document.

Some of my interests include: sewing, reading, dancing, running, exercising, cooking, baking, and writing lesson plans. I love being active in the outdoors. I'm a nanny, barista, and employee at the YMCA. I'm involved in our chapter of WEA. I'm also the Public Relations Coordinator for Kappa Delta Pi.

I hope that this blog will be useful to not only you, but for me to keep updated with ideas for my future classroom use.

Each post will have labels for the following criteria: grade, subject, college course, and type of media.
